đŸ–€ Interest Check: "The Thirteenth Floor – An Urban Horror Anthology"

Hello, fellow horror enthusiasts!

I’m considering putting together an anthology titled "The Thirteenth Floor – An Urban Horror Anthology," and I’d love to gauge interest from writers in our community.

The concept revolves around the haunting idea of a thirteenth floor that exists in the city but not in the way it should. Some believe it was never meant to be built; others see it as a liminal space where time warps, identities fracture, and nightmares come to life. This anthology aims to explore chilling stories about the mysteries and terrors that lurk within this elusive floor—think elevator rides that go too far, missing floors on building plans, or a detective unknowingly drawn into an impossible realm.

Here are some preliminary details:

Format: This anthology would include only three interconnected stories, each ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 words.

Collaboration: The editing process would involve close work between the author and Dark Holme to ensure each story reaches its full potential.

Payment: Each selected author would receive ÂŁ100 for their contribution.

I’m looking to see if there’s enough interest in such a project before moving forward. Would you be interested in submitting to "The Thirteenth Floor"? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments! Any feedback or questions are also welcome. Thank you! đŸšȘđŸ‘»

I would love to contribute. I don't know whether it will be scary enough but I write only horror and have been published by Sirens Call, Wicked Shadow Press and Weird Mask. Thank you.

Sounds like a great idea. I write a lot of hauntings with forays into cosmic horror and shifting spaces so I'd be interested in taking part.
